The UP® Home Yoga – Exercise Mat is the ideal surface for practicing Yoga and Exercises.  It helps to promote balance, and core strength, at a higher level than does performing said exercises on a hard surface.  

While using the UP Cushion, our body does not experience the full contact impact of weight and forces encountered in these processes.  Regardless the position assumed for exercises, the body is suspended, by a soft barrier that conforms to your anatomy and directional stresses being applied.  

Generally, it is understood that performing exercises on hard surfaces, tends to refrain the practitioner from striving for full extension.  The thresholds of pain associated at these levels corresponds to the levels of  restraint.
